How to Reach Chapora Fort in Goa: By roadways, you can take bus or drive from Mapusa and Panaji to Chapora which is only 18 kms. You can rent motorbike or taxi on your way to the fort.
About: This beautiful fort is constructed of red laterite. A remarkable feature of this fort is the amazing underground tunnels that they used anciently. Although, the fort stays in a dilapidated state today, still it attracts a major number of tourists each year. One can enjoy the picturesque views of the Vagator Beach from the fort.
Native laterite stone and hilly terrains joined hands to take you back in time, when this fort used to be the pride of Portuguese rulers.
