About: Situated in Valpoi, Goa, Hivre Waterfalls is an enchanting stretch of cascading water. Considered a paradise among the nature lovers and tourists, it is also a popular destination for trekkers and adventure enthusiasts.
Hivre is a picturesque part of Goa this is little recognized and less explored. Hivre is a village that plays difficult to get. It’s far situated 15 km from Valpoi. The Hivre-Valpoi trekking trail is a little tough route with a hilly climb making it very cheerful for the trekkers. There are 3 waterfalls in near proximity to each different. But an extra skilled trekker can cover all three in a day. The gushing waterfall rising from under dense flowers makes for a sincerely majestic sight. The trek is set 7- eight km through dense tropical plant life. Birdwatchers can feed their eyes on the popular Malabar Grey Hornbill and also lots of unique species of birds present there. Tiger sightings are possible, even though extremely rare, you in no way know what you can come upon in the wild!
