How to Reach: Take a bus/cab from Margao bus stand or reach by railways. Majorda Junction (3.3km) and Cansaulim (3.8km) are the nearest railway stations to Utorda Beach place. The two main railway stations apart from these two are Madgaon and Vasco-da-Gama.
About: Utorda Beach is one of the quiet beaches of South Goa, located between Majorda and Arossim. Characterized by soft white sands and fantastic palm vegetation, this beach sees very few tourists, even during the peak season. Despite this, it offers a range of water sports, dolphin rides and fishing trips. There are a few shacks on Utorda beach that offer a delectable range of cuisine, with local Goan cuisine and seafood being their specialty. As the tides are not very strong in this area, this beach is perfect for swimming, even for novice swimmers. While it is not a remote beach, it is not as tourist-filled as the neighboring Majorda beach making it a relatively cleaner and calmer beach to enjoy a nice seaside vacation.
One of the most pristine beaches in South Goa, Utorda is extremely safe. Lifeguards are placed around the beach to keep an eye on swimmers and avoid any possible injuries. There are timely warnings and updates about weather and tide forecasts to prevent people from going into the water during high tide.
