About:<\/strong>\u00a0Kalacha Beach, also known as Paliem Beach, is one of the unexploited beaches of Goa. Known for its sweet water lagoon, Kalacha Beach is located towards the south of Sinquerim Beach which can be accessed from Arambol Beach on foot. A hilltop near the beach is famous for paragliding while the secluded beach provides for a tranquil escape for tourists. Kalacha Beach exudes a relaxed bohemian vibe and is home to some exotic birds and the playful monkeys. Most often live music sessions and beach parties are organised here by backpackers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kalacha beach is better known as the sweetwater lake beach. Located in north Goa very close to the Maharashtra border, this small beach is not the easiest to reach. To get there, one needs to take a narrow seaside rocky path from Arambol beach and carefully descend the rocks to get here.<\/p>\n

The view here is well worth the effort taken. A small freshwater lake surrounded by hills on 3 sides and sand + sea on the 4th welcomes you. One can take a nice dip in the lake and click good pics as well. The beach also boasts of a few shacks, where one can get the choicest seafood.
