About:<\/strong>\u00a0Also known as the Betalbatim Church, Our Lady Of Remedios Capital was founded by the Jesuits in the 17th century. The Church is famous for its splendid architecture, well-maintained lawns and its serene ambience. The masses are a special treat at the church and attract many a peace-seekers on a regular basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words will fail to describe the ambience of this church. The external fa\u00e7ade and the surrounding Garden is impeccably maintained. This is an old and popular church in Betalbatim village of South Goa. Beautiful architecture make this place awesome. This place provides you a feeling of calmness and serenity. Worth visiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a small ornate graveyard a few hundred yards down the road from the Church. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a small altar area, which is in the memory of a member of the congregation. Further along there were some steps that led past an open window. One can climb the steps and get a view inside the Church with it’s dark wooden pews and crystal light fittings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
