Welcome to our tour of the archaeological wonders of Goa! This tour is designed to take you on a journey through the fascinating history of Goa and showcase some of its most iconic and awe-inspiring archaeological sites.
Our tour will begin with a visit to Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once a thriving capital city of the Portuguese empire in India. Here, we will explore several historic churches and cathedrals, including the famous Basilica of Bom Jesus, which houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, and other monuments like ruins of Church of St. Augustine, ASI, Museum and the first chapel in goa i.e. Chapel of St. Catherine of Alexandria
After this, we will move to Southern part of Goa to Usgalimal to Explore the petroglyphs(Rock Carvings), Netravali and finally to the excavated site at Chandor (lost capital).
Our experienced guide will provide detailed insight into the history and cultural significance of each site, and there will be plenty of opportunities to take pictures and immerse ourselves in the rich cultural heritage of Goa.
